OFFTIME is a young post-tech startup, based in Spain.
Founded in Germany in 2014 and later acquires by mINdCUBED S.L. in 2018, OFFTIME team are commited to the mission of effective ‘unplugging’ in the digital world as a Digital Wellbeing Project. OFFTIME services enable you to customize your connectivity, unplug easily, and find an enriching balance between your on/off-line life.

The bigger picture
At OFFTIME, we strive to provide sustainable solutions in the age of hyperconnectivity. We support people to create bespoke bubbles of space and time, where they can be at ease and in control. 'Unplugging' isn't isolation, it's an opportunity to reconnect. We want to bring people closer to the things that really matter to them, whatever that may be. Unplug and focus on your work, be with the people you care about, or simply enjoy some peace of mind.
While we’re extremely proud of our app, we also engage with these issues on a wider scale. We incorporate the latest psychological studies in our quest to find ways of increasing well-being and productivity. We’re currently collaborating with Humboldt University’s department of Psychology in research concerning mobile technology use. This gives us an informed scientific foundation for our own work, and enables us to be active in promoting forward-thinking research in these topics. We also host interactive events that address the pitfalls of hyperconnectivity, and are always looking for ways to get the increasingly aware audience involved in the discussion.
Micha’s calling lies in visual communication and interactive design. He holds a Master’s degree in Modern German Literature, Psychology and Philosophy, and has also studied Media and Communications. In the last few years he has freelanced as a user-interface designer and social media expert. He’s our head of design, curates our visual aesthetic, and owns the product. He also manages our marketing and communications, and was responsible for our successful crowdfunding campaign
